Meet Kavia Kabe ... Kavia is our Director of Home & Community Based Services and Supports in Tennessee. She has made a meaningful impact at the CLC through her strong leadership, uplifting spirit, and commitment to person-centered care.

“What draws me to CLC is the person-centered culture—putting the individuals we serve first,” Kavia says. “With that focus, I’m able to bring my own nature of uplifting others.”

Kavia oversees residential, employment, and community services within Tennessee’s Home and Community-Based/Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Medicaid program, ensuring safety, quality, and integrity across all service areas.

With a Bachelor of Science in Community/Public Health and a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership and Management, Kavia blends expertise with genuine passion. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exercising, learning new languages, and trying new recipes.

Kavia was drawn to the Charles Lea Center’s mission and its commitment to meeting people where they are—without judgment.

“I’m grateful to be part of CLC,” she shares. “As our mission expands across Tennessee, I’m excited to see the growth and the lives changed.”

We're proud to have Kavia on our team and look forward to the continued impact she'll male across the state and beyond.
